After an exciting and wide-ranging 40-year career, this retired chartered accountant decided to pursue the challenges of residential real estate. Public and client service are no strangers to this professional. Don enjoyed an interesting and varied government service career, rising to the position Deputy Minister. He followed this up with a successful public accounting career, retiring as a Partner in the firm of Deloitte and Touche. Finally, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Canadian Wheat Board, a multi-billion dollar corporation. In addition, Don served on the boards of a number of charitable and governmental institutions which included taking on the responsibilities of President of the Winnipeg Art Gallery, President of the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce, and Chairman of the Manitoba Hazardous Waste Management Corporation. His contacts and associations are varied. They range from the general business and financial community to the legal and accounting professions, all of which will assist him in meeting the varied needs of his clients.
